artist in New York has created a creepy animatronic dancing doll that wouldn't look out of place in Michael Jackson's Thriller video.
Jordan Wolfson, 33, created the life-sized 'woman' with help from Spectral Motion effects studio in Los Angeles. The scantily clad, dirt-smeared doll looks disconcertingly lifelike and follows gallery visitors around with her masked eyes as she gyrates provocatively in front of a large mirror.
Attached to the mirror by a metal pole, the robot is able to perform elaborate, fluid dance moves that look eerily human.
The doll features the deep voice of Mr Wolfson who asks the audience to "close your eyes", before thrusting her hips to a distorted version of Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines"
The voice booms again: "My mother's dead, my father's dead, I'm gay, I'd like to be a poet, and this is my house."
